Trading License

This license allows import, export, distribution, consolidation and storage of almost any type of product.

Service License

Branch Company

The Dubai Multi Commodities Centre Free Zone Authority makes company registration with the DMCC quick and easy. All new investors or entrepreneurs must follow these steps:

In the first step you decide on your company and the legal form of the company, where you can choose from the following three options:

• Free Zone Establishment (FZE)
• Free Zone Limited Liability Company (FZ-LLC)
• Branch of a Company (UAE or Foreign)

The next and important step is to submit your application for the procedure and certify the required documents, namely:

• Duly filled in the application form
• A valid copy of your passport and visa
• Valid proof of residential address [this can be any utility bills like water, electricity, etc.]
• A business plan
• In the case of a branch, copies of parent company documents are also required
• Finally, a No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from the sponsor who holds a valid UAE visa

After reviewing all the documents and applications you submitted, the authorities will issue a lease and license agreement once your application is approved and make the necessary payments.

Send the lease to the new office and start your business. DMCC will issue your e-license so you are ready to do business in Dubai Multi Commodities Centre.

Once the company has received the license and company documents, it can now issue a Visa. The number of visas issued to companies depends on the size of the chosen institution. The visa is valid for three (3) years.

DMCC can accommodate limited liability companies and overseas and UAE branch companies. To open a limited liability company or branch, the following requirements must be met:

• The start-up capital for a subsidiary or new company is AED 50,000 and must be paid in full three weeks before incorporation and can then be withdrawn immediately
• The company must have at least one shareholder, two to seven directors, who can be of any nationality and residency.
• Companies can issue service licenses, business licenses and general business licenses.
• Companies are required to have an individual as the president director.
• The company must have a registered office.

Foreign investors interested in starting a business at the Dubai Multi Commodities Center have three options:

• a branch office
• a limited liability company (LLC)
• a subsidiary of parent company

The documents required to set up a company in the DMCC are:

• Clear colored copies of the passport of the applicant(s)

In the case of branches and subsidiaries, the applicant must also submit a translated and legalized copy of the deed of establishment. In addition, the applicant must reside in the Dubai Multimedia Center.
